Sister-locks are tiny, versatile dreadlocks that are made using an interlocking technique. Interlocking is a method of creating dreadlocks where instead of using a strand twisting or palm rolling technique, you use a unique interlocking method and a tool to make the locks.
A consultation is required prior to booking an installation appointment. At this appointment, your hair length, cuticle and density will be analyzed and a small set of test locks will be installed. The consultation fee will be deducted from your initial installation fee.
This appointment may be booked only after a consultation appointment has been scheduled and completed. Prices are based on hair length and density.
This appointment should be booked on the schedule recommended by your stylist. Not adhering to the recommended schedule could result in higher costs.

Microlocs are a smaller version of traditional dreadlocks, typically rolled to about the size of a pencil. These locs are created by braiding, twisting, coiling, or palm rolling smaller sections of your hair from the root to the ends, then locking the hair at the roots using an interlocking method. These may be temporary or permanent. Extensions can also be added.
A consultation is required prior to booking an installation appointment. At this appointment, your hair will be analyzed for length, texture and density and you will select how you would like for your microlocs to be created, including size and type (i.e. braids, twists, coils).

Traditional locs are most commonly created through palm rolling (or matting) medium to large amounts of hair, using a balm or wax.

Instant locs are locs created using back combing (teasing) and crocheting. This method of hair locking is normally used to loc straight or longer curl patterns. It is also used to speed up the initial locking process or "skip the ugly phase" as some would say. A consultation is required prior to booking this service.
Loc grooming involves using a palm rolling and/or interlocking technique to maintain the beauty and integrity of one’s locks to make them appear neater than they were before. This involves taking the fine hairs sticking out of your locs and bringing them back to the loc shaft, thus eliminating the frizz.
A variety of braided/twisted styles are available to be done with hair added or on natural hair. The services outlined below is not an exhaustive list. For additional styles, please contact us.
Box braids are a type of hair-braiding style that is predominantly popular among African people and the African diaspora. This type of hairstyle is a "protective style" and is "boxy", consisting of square-shaped hair divisions. Prices vary based on size and length.
A knotless braid is a box braid installed using a different technique to lessen scalp tension & create a more natural look. This braided hairstyle will begin at the root just like regular box braids but will start with your natural hair, then eventually feed in the hair extension as the braid continues. Prices vary based on size and length.
Goddess braids incorporate human hair at one or more points in the braid, for a messier look, depending on the length of the braid. Boho braids incorporate human hair at the end of the braid, for a smoother look. Goddess Boho braids incorporate the two styles for a fuller look. Prices vary based on style, size and length.
Fulani braids are braids that are corn-rolled from the top to middle portion of the head and loosely box braided throughout the rest of the hair. Tribal braids are a representation of popular designs that originated in certain parts of Africa. Feed-in braids is a style where your braider "feeds in" synthetic braiding hair to your natural hair, creating the illusion of thick braids or extra long length. Prices vary based on style, size and length.
Micro braids are tiny braids so small they often resemble thick strands of hair. These braids offer the same versatility as styling loose hair.

Senegalese twists are a rope twist style of African braiding that's similar to box braids. Whereas box braids call for the traditional three strand braid, Senegalese twists are created with a two-strand twist. Prices vary based on size and length
Island twist hairstyles are a type of protective hairstyle that involves twisting synthetic or human hair extensions around your natural hair. They are also known as bohemian twists or Jamaican twists, and they have a natural and loose look compared to other types of twists, such as the Senegalese twist or rope twist. Prices vary based on size and length
